Texas Singer-Songwriter Series Troubadour, TX Returns for Third Season

 

Critically Acclaimed Show Begins September 28

 

(Dallas, Texas – September 23, 2013) – Texas singer-songwriter television series Troubadour, TX begins its third season on September 28 with new artists and special appearances. Kris Kristofferson serves as segment host and Stacy Dean Campbell is host of the award-winning, 22-episode series. Kristofferson offers personal stories throughout the series and his thoughts of what it is to be a singer-songwriter. Campbell gives viewers a unique perspective into the lives and behind the scenes of today’s Troubadours.

After three years in development, 18 months in production, 194,000 miles and 22,000 hours of footage, Troubadour, TX premiered across America in 2011, introducing dozens of singer-songwriters as they chased their dreams across the Lone Star State.  Like last season, the groundbreaking, documentary-meets-reality TV series is focusing on a concentrated lineup of talent, characterized as artists either “Chasing The Dream” or “Living The Dream.”

“Chasing The Dream” artists and returning from season 2 are: Josh Grider, Kylie Rae Harris, Cody Johnson, Matt Caldwell, female trio Michaelis and Zane Williams. Newcomer Curtis Grimes will be added to the line-up as well. Special appearances from other “Chasing The Dream” artists include: Bri Bagwell, Bonnie Bishop, Brennen Leigh and Noel McKay, Ray Johnston, Green River Ordinance, Waylon Payne, Thomas Michael Riley, The Rankin Twins, Josh Weathers, Trent Willmon and others.

Also returning from season 2 are the “Living the Dream” artists, Wade Bowen and Roger Creager. Other appearances will be made by Deryl Dodd, George Ducas, Radney Foster, Jack Ingram, Randy Rogers, Allen Shamblin, Max Stalling, Larry Joe Taylor, Rick Trevino, Walt Wilkins and more.
